If your double patch does not work, check the following items.

• Are you plugged into the correct patch panel port?
• Is the data jack labeled correctly with the correct patch panel port?
• Is the data jack/patch panel port wired correctly? The jack/patch panel needs to be wired to the 568a or 568b wiring configuration with all 4 cable pairs terminated.
• Do the network devices work? Do these devices connect with a single patch cable? . Do the switch/hub ports work? Do these ports connect with a single patch cable?
• Is the correct end of the Double Patch plugged into the outlet and patch panel? The red end only should be plugged in to the data jack and patch panel. Never plug the red end into any network device, switch, or hub.
